Keep it Simple

I’ve been keeping my plant on my neighbors roof because that was the safest place for it. When I went to check on it today it was gone. I assumed they found it. I looked around their property to see if I could find any signs of it, nothing, but I did see their trash cans behind a gate, and if I found someones weed plant on my roof I would throw that shit away. If there was any chance of finding it that’s where it would be. I waited til 3 am, hopped the the boundary fence, snuck past the building where I was keeping my plant looked around the corner and their lights on the inside were on. For a moment I thought they could of been awake but it was 3 am so I assumed they left their lights on so they don’t get robbed or something.  Anyways I wasn’t deterred by the lights I walked along the cement wall on the other side of their property by their car. When I got to the gate I saw that it was chained and locked so I had to hop over it. I hopped it easily enough and looked inside the trash can closest to me because they had two the first one was empty so I knew it had to be in the second one or I would never get it back. I opened the trash can and I didn’t see it so I thought it might be towards the bottom, damaged, or unpotted. I moved a piece of paper and there it was upright and not damaged at all. I grabbed it and left as quick as I could. I was pretty happy because I thought it was another one of my plants that died. At the very least I thought it would be damaged but they just placed it in their trash can gently and upright. The only thing wrong with it is the fact that it’s a little bent but it should be fine.
